Motivational Interviewing DVD released

This double DVD is produced by trainers of motivational interviewing from the MISA (Motivational Interviewing in Southern Africa) network and is designed to meet the need for a local training resource that looks and feels like it belongs to southern Africa. A variety of typical scenarios are used, such as, counselling a pregnant mother in the HIV clinic, a drug addict in an out-patient treatment centre, an alcoholic mother with a child who has foetal alcohol syndrome and an asthmatic patient in primary care. There are 22 different segments, which are mainly filmed in English, but Afrikaans and a mixture of Xhosa and Zulu are also used.
